WEEKEND WARRIOR

OK its Saturday Night or I should say more like Sunday Morning. I played a little poker earlier today and then I took my wife and kids out to the park, came home had a little smoked chicken and started to play poker. I've played a total of 23 games all in my $30 Buy In's. I had a couple of bad beats or should I say lost with what I thought to be the best hand. I had AA and raised pre flop 3 times the blind. I got a call. The flop came 9 4 7, nothing to make me worry or scare me off. I again made a strong bet half the size of the pot and got a call. The turn brought a 2, I again put the pressure on and raised him half of his stack, he pushed all in. I thought to my self what does he have. There was no flush draw at all , has he hit a set, maybe 2 pair, what could he possible have, I called and he flipped over a 2 and a 10. I thought what is he doing staying in pre flop with a 2 10. Anyways I said to myself easy money, that is until the river brought another 2 cracking my A's! Anyways all in all I had another plus day today adding $114.30 to my Bankroll. I will call it a night and maybe play some tomorrow. Until then keep it on the Fast Track!

STILL CLIMBING

I'm still moving up in progress. I did not play any poker yesterday at all. I came home from work and crashed. I did however play a total of 18 Games today all in my $30 Buy In Level. I mixed it up a little and played some STT's and it cost me, as I was only able to place in the money 1 time in these Short Tourneys. Thankful before the end of my play tonight I was able to regain all of my losses and add another $97.50 to my total Bankroll. I will try to stay away from the STT's for a few days. I'm feeling pretty good about my Fast Track Poker Plan. It's like taken my Poker Play and treating it like a little business trying to gain revenue and cut expenses while looking at the long term outcome and not the short term gain I have experienced in the past.

NEW LEVEL

I played at my new Level today and found much better players. My first opponent had a 26% ROI over 1700 Games. He was a very good competitor and we played for almost 70 Minutes before I was able to take him out holding AA against his KK all in preflop. After that it was up and down for most of the night. I did however manage to end my play adding another $49.50 to my Bankroll. I'm calling it quits for tonight but I will be back on the Fast Track tomorrow.

I'M A MOVIN' ON UP

I had another great day today. I played 22 Heads Up Games all at my current $20 Buy In Level. I was able to win 16 of them bringing my bankroll to $1502.70! I can now move up to the next Level of $30 Buy In's and still have 50 times my Level of Play to fund my bankroll. I will have to stay at this Level unfortunately until my bankroll reaches at least $2500.00. The reason for this is that Full Tilt Poker does not have a $40 Heads Up Game. My next Level after this will have to be at the $50 Level. Since I began this Fast Track Poker Plan ( 19 Days Ago ) I have logged 41.9 Hours of play, added $902.25 or 150% to my bankroll, on average I'm making $22.10 an Hour and I have gained a great deal of knowledge on the importance of putting together a Bankroll Management Plan. I will continue to post my play daily and if you have any ideas for improvement or things you would like to see please let me know. Until then I'm keeping it on the Fast Track!

DONKEY

I had another great run at Heads Up Play. I kept to my plan and bought in at my current level of $20. I started my 1st game at 7PM and played for almost 4 straight hours. I happen to find a player that would not back down. I played him Heads Up for 20 games and won 15 out of the 20. I would have played him all night had he wanted too. He finally gave up and called it a night. Anyways he added another 13.5% to my bankroll bringing my total bankroll now to $1326.70. I will be looking for this guy again tomorrow. Another day like this and I can move up another level on my Fast Track!

THURSDAY THUNDER

So far today has been a much better day. I have added another $169.00 to my bankroll bringing my bankroll total to $1170.95. I stayed at my current Buy In Levels of $20 and played a mixture of STT's and 18 Players MTT's and it paid off. Not a bad day at all if I must say so myself and I had a lot of fun at the tables. I may or may not play anymore Poker today, it kind of depends on my wife's plans to go shopping. In the meantime I have put together so great reports for you all to look at. I'm back on the Fast Track!

DOWN TODAY

I had a ruff day today. I played a total of 10 games today all in my new Buy In Level of $20. I was not playing my best at all and only placed in the money 3 out of the 10 games I played. I dropped my bankroll down $102.00 or 9.2% to put my bankroll now at $1001.95. I will continue at the same level tomorrow and see how I do.

DONE FOR THE DAY

I have had yet another plus day. Not a big gain or much to talk about but as each day passes I'm increasing my bankroll and getting closer to a new level. I played lots of Heads Up Play again today and finished up with a $20+2 STT. I added another $58.00 to my bankroll ending the day at $1103.95. I don't plan to play anymore today. I'm going to hang out with my wife and kids. Have a great night! See ya tomorrow.

THE NEXT LEVEL

I finally can move up to the Next Level. I have continued to play at the Buy In Levels of $10. I stuck to heads up play and a few STT's games here and there. I now have built my bankroll up to $1045.95 which is about a 75% Increase from my starting bankroll of $600.45. I now plan to Buy In at the $20 Levels. I will continue to play a mixture of Heads Up Play along with STT's. At this Level of Buy In's I will still have about 50 times my Play Level covering my bankroll. My next goal will be to get my bankroll up to $1500.00. Then I can move up another Level, keeping in mind that if I lose 30% of my new bankroll of $1045.95 I will have to drop back down a Level. Wish me luck on my Fast Track!

HEADS UP PLAY

I did not play any yesterday but today was another good day. I stuck to heads up play only and added a plus to my bankroll. I started today with my bankroll at $632.45 and ended my play tonight at $723.45 up another 14.3%. I'm going to continue playing at this low level of Buy In's $10+0.50 and only play Heads Up for a while. It worked yesterday and today so I think I should continue at this rate. My play has been great, my reads have been right on and I'm finding the donks get crushed at heads up. I'm on my way to the Fast Track!

BEST DAY SO FAR

OK Today's playing was a little more profitable, not much of anything to brag about but considering the level that I'm playing at it was not a bad day at all. I started out with a Session this morning Playing 2 $10 STT's at the same time. Again I had plenty of Donks catching some cards and I finished both just out of the money placing 4Th in game one and 5Th in game two bringing my bankroll down to $562.45. I took some time to think about my progress and decided that I would stay at this Level of play as far as Buy In's Go but I would finish my Sessions Today Playing Heads Up at a Buy In Level of $10+0.50 and see how I do. I played 4 Sessions of 2 Heads Up Games at once for a total of 8 games. I was making all the right reads and playing some great Heads Up Poker. I managed to somehow win all 8 games! I transferred $10 to a buddy of mine so that puts my bankroll now at $632.45 up 8.2% from yesterday. I'm calling it quits for tonight but I look forward to playing tomorrow. I may stick to Heads Up Play in all my Sessions tomorrow and see how it goes. Who knows I may have found my ticket to the Fast Track!

SUNDAY MADNESS

After another long day of playing poker in between taking my son fishing, picking my daughter up from a friends house and cutting the grass I'm calling it a night. I managed to get in another 4 Sessions today playing 4 STT's at once for a total of 16 games today. I had my bankroll up over $600 only to end the day with my bankroll at $584.45. I'm having to push myself to stay at this level. I'm spending way to much time only to add a few dollars plus or minus to my bankroll. I need to Fast Track my way to the next level some how before I go insane!

FRUSTRATING DAY

I have played 4 Sessions today all Mult Playing 4 STT's at once for a total of 16 games. I feel at this level of play it is going to take me a good while before moving up to the next level. At one point today my bankroll was down to $498.45 before I brought it back up to $580.45. I feel like I was making all the right calls and reading my opponents very well but it seems at this level of Buy In's ( 10 + 1 ) you have many donks fishing to the end and catching it. I will however stick to my plan and will not move up any levels until I increase my starting bankroll by 40%. More to come as I continue my Fast Track Poker Plan.

FIRST DAY

I started out in Session one not doing so well. I had some great hands that just didn't hold up. I had my 4 STT's going at once as planned and the first knock out was when I lost with a set of 9's against a set of 10's then 2 mins later in my second game i got knocked when my pocket A's got cracked by pocket 3's. He put me in pre flop so i had to go with it. My 3rd and 4th game didn't go any better. Onto my 2nd Session where in game one I placed in the money finishing 3rd and taking away $18.00. Game two, three and four was not any better then my first Session. The cards just were not falling my way. I took about a 20 min break and then started my finial Session of the night. Luckily this time I placed in the money 3 out of the 4 games so I ended the night dropping my overall bankroll down from $600.45 to $576.45. I will call it a night and tomorrow try to get my Sessions scheduled a little better. Maybe one during the day or early morning. If you have any thought or ideas for my blog please feel free to comment and remember no track is better then the Fast Track!

MY BANKROLL

I have managed to start my bankroll with $600.00. In the past I would have normally just logged into Full Tilt Poker and started playing like crazy. This time I have a good game plan in place and I will start out playing 3 Sessions a Day with each Session Consisting of Multi Playing 4 different STT's at once. This way each day I will have completed a total of 12 games. With my bankroll only starting at $600.00 I will stay at the $10 + 1 Buy In Level. Including the Buy in Fee's this will put me just over 50 times my Buy In Level which should keep me from playing scared should I have a few bad days. I also have a plan in place to drop down a level if I lose 30% of my starting bankroll and a plan to move up a level should I increase my bankroll by 60%. As I said before I have been playing Poker as long as I can remember, I love the rush of gambling and the thrill of making quick money. I have been as so brave to play $500 a hand in Black Jack for 2 solid hours, Day Trade in the Stock Market, invest in all kinds of crazy get rich plans and so on and on and on. So this will be a challenge for me in itself to stick to a Money Management Plan. Luckily for me I will have the Support and Encouragement of my Lovely Wife and hopefully my new online Friends such as you to keep me on the right path. OK enough talk let me get to playing some Fast Track Poker!

GETTING STARTED

First of all let me introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me. My name is Jason, I just turned 35 years old ( Happy Birthday to Me ) I have been happily married now for almost 15 years and we just had our fourth child. I have a great job and as far as I know pretty good health. Anyways back to Poker. I have been playing poker since I was about 6 years old. You know setting around with my Uncles as they played 5 Card Draw. Poker has been in and out of my life as far back as I can remember. Nothing real serious until now. I have been playing online poker for about 8 months now and have absolutely nothing in the bank to show for it. I have had some ups and downs, some wins and losses and actually managed to cash out a few small checks, nothing really worth talking about and as it stands right now I have a whopping $0.45 cents in my Poker Account. I have finally decided to get it together and take my Poker Playing to the next level. I have been reading up on Bankroll Management and now I figure it is about time to put a plan in place. My first goal is to figure out how much money I can invest in this venture and that will determine what level of Buy In's I start at. At the beginning I'm going to play NL Holdem Sit & Go Single Table Tournaments. I like playing at Full Tilt Poker and so my plans are to fund my bankroll only at that site. OK enough for now, let me get started crunching my personal finances so I can somehow fund this venture and oh by the way Welcome to my Fast Track Poker World!
